A cozy neighborhood spot just minutes from SFO where you can eat, drink, and play. We offer over 500 board games, from quick card games to deep strategy titles, alongside artisanal third-wave coffee, fresh handmade food, and a rotating lineup of community game events. Inspired by the fun-loving board gaming culture, our cafe aims to bring a feeling of home to people who visit.
Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular, Plucky's is the kind of place you'll want to come back to. Enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, sip on a locally roasted espresso or a signature dulce de leche latte, and share special moments with friends, family, or fellow game lovers. ESPRESSO & DRINKS
Our espresso beans are locally roasted by Soul Grind and Philippine Barako beans for our house drip. Come taste our signature and seasonal drinks - the Mont Blanc Mindthief cold brew, Dulce de Leche, Orange Essence Latte Sunkeeper, Matcha Latte, or Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Also pouring wine, soju cocktails, and local beer.

Breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Favorites include Smoked Salmon Toast, Chicken Sandwich Panini, Sausage Burrito, Avocado Toast, Beef Chipotle Bowl, Mushroom Omelette, Farmer’s Market Salad, and Couscous Salmon Salad. We make delicious, healthy, clean food. Vegan and Gluten free options available.

From quick card games to deep strategy titles, our library has something for everyone. First hour free from our curated pick-up-and-play collection. Full library access is just $5/person per hour. Check out our website and discord channel to meet people in our community. Come play games!
How it works

No games required. Plucky's is first and foremost a café — you're always welcome to come in, order your favorite drink and food. We are open for breakfast & lunch everyday and dinner on Thursday-Saturday. Our hours are M-W: 7am-3pm, Th-Sat: 7am-10pm, Sun: 7am-6pm. We also have a selection of wines, local draft beers, ciders and soju cocktails.
A space to connect, not commute. Plucky's is designed for real conversation — with friends, family, and the occasional stranger across a game table. Laptops are welcome on weekday mornings until 6pm for up to 1 hour, but evenings and weekends are blissfully screen-free. We think you'll appreciate the difference.

A café designed for living, not working on a laptop. Put the laptop away and enjoy your coffee. Plucky's is a space for conversation, connection, and slowing down — not Slack notifications and Zoom calls. Laptops are welcome on weekday mornings until 6pm for up to 1 hour, but evenings and weekends are screen-free by design. Come to be present. You might even end up playing a game.

Free-to-Play Selection: You can enjoy one hour for free when playing from our curated "Free-to-Play" library. This specialized collection includes a variety of easy-to-learn card games and pick-up-and-play board games.
Bringing Your Own? The same "one hour free" rule applies if you bring your own games from home.
Staying Longer? If you wish to continue playing after your first free hour, each additional hour is only $5/person
Play Anything: If you want full access to our entire premium library of over 300 games to choose from including heavy strategy titles, party games for large groups, new releases, and kick-starter games, the rate is a flat $5/person, per hour. Play as many games as you like.
Children under 12 are half price.
